Brethren are earnestly requested to bring their own aprons and to be in their seats in Grand Lodge before 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. \nDistinguished visitors\, representing other Grand Jurisdictions\, will be received and welcomed. An Address of Welcome will be tendered and Grand Lodge will then proceed with the business until 11:30 a.m. The brethren are asked to reassemble after lunch in the Ballroom\, F.R.Y.H. at 1:30 p.m. for an Interactive Presentation by Bro. Samuel Friedman and at 2:30 p.m. for a Q & A with R.W. Bro. David J. Cameron\, D.G.M.

DESCRIPTION:A visit filled with tradition. \nGolden Rule Lodge No. 5\, GRQ have held this outdoor communication since 1857. Masons from both sides of the border meet in a spirit of fellowship and community to see a worthy brother being raised to the third degree at the top of Owl’s Head Mountain. \nPart of this old tradition is a unique process which requires the candidate to hike/climb to the summit\, while others can reach the top by a chair lift. SUMMARY:St. Andrew’s - Renfrew Bifulgated Gavel
DESCRIPTION:A number of years ago several members of St.Andrew’s were also members of Renfrew\, having lived in those areas before coming to Ottawa. They encouraged both of the Lodges to begin an exchange visit each year and at each\, they exchanged a gavel that separates\, but together they make a whole. Each of us is never whole until we are brought together to renew and strengthen our friendship. \nOver the years those original members have passed on but the practice is continued\, in their memory\, but now to make new friends whom we enjoy meeting together. Also\, it should be noted that in 1979 when we were separated from each other when the Ottawa District was divided into Ottawa 1 and Ottawa 2. It was decided that we needed to maintain the old Masonic tie between us. \nA light meal will be served after the meeting.
