October Regular Meeting: A Night of Highland Fellowship
October 3 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Join us for an extraordinary evening that celebrates the rich traditions and brotherhood of Scottish Freemasonry.
St. Andrew’s Lodge is proud to host a Scottish-themed dinner, insightful talks, and a special 2nd Degree ceremony performed by the renowned Highland Degree Team.
This night holds great significance as we reunite the bifurcated gavel with Renfrew Lodge No. 122 in the annual Bifurcated Gavel Ceremony, a tradition that began in the 1960s when brethren from both Lodges, working at Ontario Hydro, sought to maintain the bonds of friendship after moving to new locations. The ceremony symbolizes the lasting connection and mutual support between our two Lodges.
We are also honored to welcome Edinburgh-Defenders Lodge, a distinguished military Lodge which also holds Scottish traditions. Each Lodge will present a candidate to be passed to the second degree, forever linking these two brothers through a shared and unique experience, further strengthening the bonds between our Lodges. This will truly be an unforgettable night of heritage, unity, and Masonic brotherhood.
Festive Board: Starting at 6:00pm, join us for a delightful themed meal featuring Scottish cuisine. During dinner, W. Bro. F. Haggart will deliver an enlightening talk on Benevolence and its connection to Tunis Shriner activities. During the dinner, there will be also an opportunity for members to share brief commercials.
Work of the Night (1st part): At 7:30pm, the first part of our lodge’s work will commence. This includes:
- Opening
- Welcoming the delegation from Edinburgh-Defenders Lodge in a fraternal visit.
