First, I would like to welcome our newest Brother to the fraternity. At our first monthly meeting of the year, Prescott J. was initiated into our gentle craft and welcomed into our lodge. The District Deputy Grand Master was in attendance. It was great to see everyone after the Summer recess and rekindle connections and having a first degree was a superb way to kick off the new masonic year.
I would also like to take a moment to extend my sympathies, on behalf of the lodge, to Worshipful Brother Bob C. on the loss of his wife earlier in the month. Please keep the family in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
It was nice to see some potential candidates at our festive board, and I look forward to getting to know them even better over the next few months.
Looking forward, we have a lot of degree work to get through this year, but we also have some special events planned, such as the delivery of a second degree to our Brother Max by the Highland Degree Team at our monthly meeting next month. These guys put on a mean degree, so we are looking forward to some good attendance. Hope to see you there.
In summary, we’re off to a good start to what is proving to be a very busy year.
