Greetings Brethren,
The festive season is upon us, and Christmas is around the corner. It is a time for us to reflect on family, friends and loved ones. Please try to make a difference in someone’s life this season and help those who are less fortunate.
We will host the District Deputy Grand Master’s official visit at our regular meeting on December 5, 2019. Please make the effort to attend and show your support. Also, that night we will be reading the ancient charges of masonry under candlelight. I highly encourage your attendance as this is important for all masons to know.
The annual Christmas party for the Boys and Girls Club will be on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Volunteer workers are vital to the success of the party. The Shrine clowns will be there along with St. Nicholas himself, with gifts for all of the children. Please contact W. Bro. G. M. if you wish to make a donation towards gifts for the kids.
I would like to congratulate our newest M.M., Bro. M. B. who was raised on November 21, 2019. It was a special night as his father travelled across the country to be there for his son’s raising. He then surprised his son by presenting him a Lewis jewel that spanned three generations. I also want to thank and congratulate our team who conducted an excellent degree. This was recognized by the high praise given by the Grand Lodge’s Custodian of the Work, M.W.Bro. Don Mumby, who was in attendance.
