The master’s chair

Greetings Brethren,

Last month we had a well-attended virtual Robbie Burns celebration. Many thanks to R.W. Bro. Gillis and Bro. Myall for a great presentation. It was nice to see so many of you and yours on the call. I would like to also remind you to continue to follow the monthly candidate meetings and to lend your masonic books to the lodge library if you can.

At our regular virtual meeting in February, I would like to do something different. An idea was brought to my attention that is not of masonic nature but nonetheless can help us in our daily lives. In modern times, we rely so heavily on the internet. Everything we do is out in the open and most of us give out our personal information without a second thought.

One of the Cardinal Virtues is prudence, and a presentation was put together to aid us in being prudent in our personal endeavors. W. Bro. Nesrallah will give us current information on how your personal information is used and misused on the Internet, the consequences of a lack of privacy, and how to protect your personal information from identity thieves, nosy corporations and other malcontents. I’m sure you will find this helpful and I strongly recommend your participation.

“Let us remember the four cardinal virtues in word and in practice and how they can assist us in our daily endeavors”.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

W.M. Elias Lakkis 2019-2021
