Brethren,
Our lodge was formed by veterans returning from WW1, who were looking to continue that fraternal bond in times of need. As we should always remember them, November is a special month of remembrance and a time for reflection to those who gave their lives so that we all can have a better life. I strongly encourage you all, with your family and friends, to attend our annual ceremony of the Empty Chair. R.W.Bro. J. M. and the officers will conduct the ceremony and Bro. JW will arrange refreshments after the close of the ceremony.
November is a busy month in the district. The DDGM continues his official visits as well as other events. Please refer to the Ottawa District 1 trestle board and attempt to attend as many as you can. Also, Remembrance Day service for Masons and families will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 10:30 am at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa ON Assembly at 10 am, regalia and medals are worn.
At our November Emergent, we will be conducting the 3rd degree for Bro. Morgan Bayliss. I would like to see you all attend and show your support to our brother.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Elias Lakkis W.M. 2019-2020
