The master’s chair

Greetings Brethren,

Our 100 year to the day celebration was a great success and a humbling one. It was well attended and I hope enjoyed by all. I want to thank R.W. Bro. Campbell for his history paper that he shared with us, I was amazed to see how much past and current brethren had given to our lodge and their example should push us to continue that tradition for generations to come.

At our regular meeting, February 6, 2020, we will be conducting one ballot for two prospective candidates, Mr. R. Hash and Mr. D. Delatour. I hope that you had a chance to meet the candidates and gotten to know then better. Also, we will be celebrating Robbie Burns night with traditional Scottish fair and I encourage you all to attend and to invite a guest. Bro. Myall has been working diligently in planning this very special night. Please get in touch with him asap to reserve your tickets. We will tyle at 7:00 pm for a short meeting then it’s upstairs for haggis and all the toasts, poetry and speeches to Robert Burns. These annual Burns’ nights have been a tradition of St. Andrew’s now for 40 years, so join me in the celebration.

At our February emergent meeting, R.W. Bro. Gillis will present a short paper and conduct a lodge of discussion. This is a great way to open up as a lodge and I hope to see you there.
