The master’s chair

Greetings Brethren,

It’s been an eventful few months so far and March will not disappoint. I would like to extend my appreciation to all those who organized or participated in the annual Burns Dinner. It was a very enjoyable evening of traditional Scottish fair, poems and speeches.

Special commendation goes to Bro. Wade Myall who tirelessly worked hard and ensured that Burns night was a success.

At our regular meeting on March 5, 2020, we will be conducting a double initiation for Mr. R. Hash and Mr. D. Delatour. I would like to congratulate both gentlemen and wish them all the best in beginning their masonic journey. I highly encourage you all to be there in support of our new candidates.

On Monday March 2, 2020, we will be visiting and delivering the bifurcated gavel to Renfrew Lodge No. 122, in Renfrew. This is a longstanding tradition between our two Lodges, let’s show our support and attend. Please note that our CGP meting has been moved to Monday, February 24, 2020, due to our visit to Renfrew Lodge.

Save the date! March 14, 2020 is the Four Lodge Centennial Celebration. This is not only an opportunity to celebrate a significant and unique Masonic milestone, but also an occasion to include our significant others in the evening’s festivities. This is a very important event for St. Andrew’s and I cannot stress its importance. I hope to see you there.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

Elias Lakkis W.M. 2019-2020
